Lack individuality?
'What is my originality?' 'What is the goal of my life?'
I know a lot of people stuck this questions, and they say 'I'm a loser', 'I'm not special', 'I'm not important.'. Then I wondered why.
In developed communities it's possible to live without to commit others and people get spare time to think about themselves, and start thinking about their originality or their individuality, then get lost. But this is like putting the cart before the horse. Because individuality and its importance are made by giving and taking exchange between you and the community. Imagine you are floating in space and looking at the planet earth. You are living there. Look at it, you are a part of community. People who are feeling themselves as losers or feeling lonely in the developed community are just lacking this imagination. People who missing imagination are mostly individualists and they just habitually make a conflict with other individualists. Because they are trying to feel their 'originality' or 'specialty' in that arguments. But the escape hatch is not there. We have to try to be open minded and take a multifaceted view. Think about the community issue, imagine the ways to solve it. You can start that from a small community around you, your family, your company, your country.
Individuals who have the imagination are always evolving. And that creative potential is made from efforts of incorporating new knowledge, and expand it constantly in all categories. They constantly receive culture from community, and give it to community, then grow with the community. Like this, you will notice how tiny the individual issues are. By thinking about the community issue you would get used to make the ideas to solve the problems. The imagination is something you can grow. Rich imagination gives you the ways to solve one problem from many angles. On the other hand people who missing imagination are incomplete as a human being and they can't solve their problems in many cases.
So why not to engage to the community issue than your personal issue?
It's the best lesson to learn how to solve your life issues, and it's all free. The community issue is the matter of everyone and until now, from now on, it always exists. Think like this, you are a very important, irreplaceable one. Because the possibility of cultural growth of community depends on individuals, each of us. It depends on the things what we give to the community.
So what you can give to the community? It is what your individuality.
唐突だけど今日思ったこと。
「自分の個性って何だろう？」「人生の目的が分からない!
」
みたいな変な悩みになぜかはまってしまっている人を結構たくさん知っている。
それでよく「負け組だー」とか「自分は平凡だ」とか
「自分なんて大した人間じゃない」みたいな事を言っているので、（私から見ればそんなことないのに）
それってどういう事なんだろう？と考えてみた。
インドみたいにほとんどのことがうまくいかない場所で
過ごしているからこういう考え方になったのかもしれないけど、
今まで考えもしなかったけど、いろいろなことが整ってしまっている日本のような国では
特に他人と協力したり他人と関わらなくても安心・安全な生活を送る事が可能、
というのは世界的に見れば特異なことだと思う。
そのために自分という個人についてどうだ、みたいなことを考える
時間の「余裕」ができてくる。
それでなんだかよく分からなくなってしまう様な。
でもそれって本末転倒かなと思う。
なぜなら個性とか個人の重要性っていうのは個別にそのものについて考える事から
生まれるものではなくて、社会との関わりから生まれるものだと思うから。
宇宙から地球を見ている所を想像してみると、小さい自分がその上で人の集まりの中に
住んでいるのが見える。
自分がダメだとか、なんだか寂しいと思っている人たちは
この想像力が足りないんじゃないかなと思う。
創造力の乏しい人はたいてい個人主義で、習慣的に
他の個人主義の人と対立しようとする。
なぜならそういうケンカの中に、自分の個性とか、自分は特別！という事を
感じようとしているからだろう。
でも本当の脱出口はそこにはないはず！
私たちにとって大切な事は、いつももっとオープンマインドでいようと努力する事。
なるべく広い視野を持つ為に、もっといい意見に出会ったら自分の意見を修正できる
ような気持ちを持つ事ではないかと思う。
個人的な問題に集中するのではなくて、もっと社会的な問題について考えてみたら
どうだろう。
たとえば突然世界平和について考えるとかではなくて、もっと小さな社会についてから。たとえば自分の家族のこと、自分の会社、自分の国について。
想像力が豊かな人はいつも成長し続ける。
その想像力の可能性は、あらゆる分野において、絶えず新しい知識を取り入れ、
そして知識を広げつづける努力から生まれる。
想像力のある人は、常に社会から文化を受けとって、そして与え、
社会と一緒に成長する。
そうしているうちに、いつのまにか自分の個人的な問題についてはとても
小さな事に感じる様になっていたりする。
もっと大きな社会全体的な問題について考えるうちに、問題解決のプロセスを
考えるのに慣れてくるからかもしれない。
想像力は何か自分で豊かにしていけるものだ。
想像力が豊かになるということは、一つの問題についてより多くのの解決パターンを
考えだせるという事だと思う。
そういう理由で、想像力の乏しい人は小さな問題につまずいてしまったりする
のではないか。
個人的な問題についてよりも、もっと自分のまわりのことについて考えてみたらどうだろう？
実はそれが個人的な問題を解決する一番いいレッスンになるし、
いくら受けても無料だ。
社会的な問題はみんなの課題で、今までも、これからも、ずっと存在し続ける。
そのことについて考える事によって、自然と自分の存在の重要性に気付くかもしれない。
なぜなら社会の成長は、個人に、一人一人が社会に与えるものにかかっているから。
じゃあ今ならその社会に対して何ができる？
それに対する大小様々なが答えや行動が個性なんじゃないかな。
